Wills and Bequests
For a person's final wishes to be carried out, regardless of the size of their estate, preparing a Will is essential. Every year Glendale Memorial Health Foundation receives generous gifts to support the growth and continuous improvement of the hospital from thoughtful friends who have remembered and made provisions for Glendale Memorial Hospital through their Will. These bequests are often specific sums of money, but other times represent a percentage of the donor's estate, yet on still other occasions it is a "residual" bequest - meaning Glendale Memorial Health Foundation is left with what remains in the estate after all specific bequests have been made.

Every gift to Glendale Memorial Health Foundation is accepted with deep gratitude. Each gift is promptly and personally acknowledged, and is recognized publicly, in a timely fashion, in the Foundation's quarterly Newsletter.
The donor wall adjacent to the hospital lobby is a permanent tribute to the generosity of those whose continued and meaningful help advances the progress of Glendale Memorial Hospital and contributes to the future well being of our community.
Donors whose cumulative gifts to the Foundation amount to $5,000 or more are perpetually honored for their important support on the Donor Wall.
